Workplace Wellbeing

Wellbeing of employees is exceptionally important in these times. Whether you follow a remote, in-office, or blended arrangement, wellbeing activities can help employees be more resilient and fulfilled, and contribute to your organization thriving even better.

 I provide consultations and training for the following areas:

  • Wellbeing workshops designed specifically for your organization
  • Practicing from an Indigenous worldview with Indigenous specific strategies
  • Conducting team-building exercises to strengthen connections
  • Arranging one-on-one counseling sessions for employees

An Indigenous Approach to Mama Trauma (New dates will be announced for Fall and Winter 24/25)

Who is this Workshop for:

This workshop is for anyone who works with Indigenous Mother’s. Example’s are Birth Workers (Doulas, Midwives), Early Childhood Workers, Support Workers, Teachers, Coaches, Social Workers, Health Care Workers and any other Community Workers that feel it is a good fit for them.

Tickets:

These workshops have limited tickets available to ensure optimal learning space for all participants. If interested in group tickets please reach out and I can create a custom one for your group size. Each workshop I provide will have a limited number of community tickets at no cost. These are for anyone who could benefit from a free ticket. These tickets go fast once released so keep an eye open for them.

About the Workshop:

Niimama’s (Mama’s) have been parenting in isolation for a long time. There was isolation well before the current world turn of events over the past few years. This workshop explores this and also what impact traumas and isolation have on Mama’s and their families. What is our role as workers or members of this Mama’s village. And in what ways we can support healing and connection for these Mama’s

About the Workshop:

The hibernating mukwa (bear) of childhood trauma is about exploring the theory that children create a bear to survive trauma. As adults, this bear goes into hibernation and still walks with us. It is an Indigenous worldview that has been adapted from Gabor Mate’s “The Stupid Friend”.

LivingWorks safeTALK is a four-hour face-to-face workshop featuring powerful presentations, audiovisuals, and skills practice.

At a LivingWorks safeTALK workshop, you’ll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support.
